イタリア永住権への道｜Road to Italy Permanent Residency

今回は、イタリアの永住権について書きたいと思います。

いろいろなご縁があり、アメリカから日本へ戻ったタイミングが、ちょうどコロナ禍でした。

その頃、以前関わりのあったイタリア人オーナーから「日本の化粧品をイタリアで展開したい。そのためにエステティシャンが必要だ」という話をいただき、日本にいた私を呼び寄せる形でイタリアに来ることになりました ✈️

ビザや滞在許可証の確認・申請は、正直とても大変でしたが、
当時の会社が手続きを手伝ってくれたおかげで、何とか無事にイタリアへ来ることができました。

このあたりの詳しい話は、また別の機会に書こうと思います。

📄 滞在許可証から永住権までの流れ

私の場合、最初の滞在許可証は 1年。
その後、2年 → 2年 と更新し、合計 5年間の滞在を経て、永住権の申請が可能になりました。

今年がちょうどその5年目にあたり、
現在の滞在許可証は 10月に期限を迎えるため、それに向けて永住権申請の書類準備を進めています 🗂️

📝 永住権に必要なイタリア語試験

永住権申請には、イタリア語の試験を受ける必要があります。

私は 2025年10月16日、
ロレート駅の近くにある語学学校
Language Point（ランゲージ・ポイント） で
A2・CILS A2 Integrazione（€93） の試験を受けました。

試験は無事に終わり、結果も合格 🎉
とても嬉しく、ほっとしたのを覚えています。

Language Point は、先生方が親切で、学校内もきれいに保たれており、落ち着いて試験に臨める環境でした ✨
語学試験というと緊張しがちですが、ここでは安心して受験できたと感じています。

注意点

ヒアリング音声はダウンロードできないため、リスニングは別教材で対策する必要があります。
ライティングは、先生またはイタリア人に必ず添削してもらうことをおすすめします。

🇮🇹 About Applying for Permanent Residency in Italy

This time, I would like to write about permanent residency in Italy.

Through various connections, I returned from the United States to Japan during the COVID pandemic.
Around that time, an Italian owner I had previously worked with contacted me and said,
“I would like to sell Japanese cosmetics in Italy. For that, I need an esthetician.”
This opportunity led to me being invited from Japan to Italy ✈️

Honestly, the process of confirming and applying for a visa and residence permit was very challenging.
However, thanks to the support of the company at that time, I was able to come to Italy safely.

I will write more about this process on another occasion.

📄 From Residence Permit to Permanent Residency

In my case, the first residence permit was valid for one year.
After that, it was renewed for two years → another two years, and after a total of five years of residence, I became eligible to apply for permanent residency.

This year marks my fifth year, and since my current residence permit expires in October, I am preparing the necessary documents for the permanent residency application 🗂️

📝 Italian Language Exam Required for Permanent Residency

To apply for permanent residency, it is necessary to pass an Italian language exam.

I took the exam on October 16, 2025,
at the language school Language Point near Loreto Station,
the A2 – CILS A2 Integrazione (€93) exam.

The exam went smoothly, and I passed 🎉
I clearly remember feeling very relieved and happy.

Language Point has kind teachers, and the school is kept very clean, providing a calm environment for taking the exam ✨
Language exams can be stressful, but I felt comfortable and at ease taking it there.

For the writing section, I strongly recommend having your answers checked by a teacher or a native Italian speaker.
